Well hello my pretties! Took the gear to the pros at Neptunes to get mounted/fitted and we are now good to go! Heat molding the boot liners was more involved than some surgical procedures I've been thru...toes were splinted and taped, foam seperaters inserted, insoles taped onto feet and the whole shebang bound, wrapped and baked....mmm toasty! This was probably Chainsaw's favorite part of tele so far, nice hot feet. Boots do feel incredibly comfortable now, at least when standing around and we are aiming to hit the slopes this weekend for the very first time! Got in one last dryland training session last night and I am once again crippled at work today. Good stuff!

My ruby slippers! New T2X. Tough choice for a sloppy boot snowboarder, and expensive at $500+ (Ramen-time!), but will hopefully be versatile enough for learning on the groomers and then a lot of touring in the backcountry.

And so it begins! No matter what excuses I will make, and there will be many, for my performance on teles this year, I won't be able to blame it on crappy equipment. The final piece of the puzzle joins the wedding gift Atomic skis and freebie G3 bindings. Bolt all this shit together and I'm good to go! I'm assuming the curvy bit of the skis goes to the front?
