Alfords hit Howelson

Not quite the same as last weekend's epic but can't beat skiing with Chainsaw! We worked up the grins with a lot of powder burgling and some fun little chutes on the awe inspiring 440ft vert. Chainsaw was skiing pretty good considering the year layoff and it was fun to explore our tiny local ski hill and find all the little hits and secret spots. Still knee deep powder in some sections!

Powder-Up In Steamboat

We ventured north to Steamboat last weekend to sample some of the legendary champagne. Powder that is... and it didn't disappoint. Highroller, Top-Self and I were just plain giddy as we plunged into 4+ ft. of untracked powder off the top of Storm Peak. Limited and sometimes zero visibility had no chance of curbing the excitement of sharing thigh-deep powder turns with good friends.

Ah, the momentary thrill of New Year's resolutions! Broke trail for an hour above the Moots factory to savor the deep new snow from last week...good stuff! Seeing your tracks from your office window? Priceless!
